| Description | About The Role Join a graduate programme where you'll help shape some of the UK's most significant property transactions, working alongside market-leading advisers, investors, developers and occupiers from day one. You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of sectors, clients and opportunities while building the commercial, technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in real estate. Our Markets & Transactions pathway is designed for graduates who are excited by deal-making, relationship building and identifying opportunities across the real estate market. Based at our Baker Street headquarters in London, the programme consists of up to five six-month rotations across a variety of teams involved in the acquisition, disposal, development and investment of property assets. You'll gain exposure to high-profile transactions and work with a diverse range of clients, while learning how opportunities are identified, marketed, negotiated and successfully completed. Throughout the programme, you could gain experience in areas such as Capital Markets, Commercial Agency, Residential Development & Investment, Valuation and Specialist Sectors including Student Property, Hotels, Healthcare and Data Centres. These teams advise investors, developers, landlords, occupiers and institutions on some of their most important property decisions. Unlike our Advisory & Consulting pathway, which focuses primarily on analysis and strategic recommendations relating to property performance and decision-making, the Markets & Transactions pathway combines market insight and strategic advice with the identification, marketing and execution of occupational and investment opportunities. It is well suited to individuals who enjoy building relationships, understanding market trends and helping clients identify and realise opportunities across the real estate market. As you progress through the programme, you'll develop a combination of technical property knowledge, commercial awareness and business development skills, while building a professional network across Knight Frank and the wider real estate industry. We're dedicated to helping you fulfil your potential at Knight Frank, so learning and development are central to the programme. Each rotation will provide a unique learning experience and contribute towards your professional development. Working alongside experienced surveyors and advisers on live instructions, transactions and client projects, you'll gradually take on greater responsibility while building the technical experience required to complete your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). Successful completion of the APC will enable you to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), supporting your long-term career progression and professional network. If you have obtained an RICS-accredited degree, you will aim to complete the graduate scheme and qualify as a surveyor in November 2029 (RICS Autumn Sitting). If you do not have an RICS-accredited degree, we will support you to complete the RICS-accredited MSc in Real Estate via distance learning alongside your work. You will aim to complete the graduate scheme and qualify as a surveyor in March 2030 (RICS Spring Sitting). Salary £31,000 starting salary plus a £1,500 sign-on bonus, alongside a comprehensive package of company benefits, including access to Private Medical Insurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work scheme, discounted gym memberships and shopping discounts and offers at various merchants and more. About You We're looking for individuals who are curious about property markets and motivated by working with clients, opportunities, and transactions. Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate strong communication skills, commercial awareness, relationship-building ability, and the confidence to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. Strong analytical, numerical, and financial literacy skills are important, as you'll be expected to interpret information, work with financial data, identify trends, and support commercial decision-making. You will hold, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline. An RICS-accredited degree is advantageous, but we equally welcome applications from candidates studying non-RICS-accredited courses. You'll be someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and communicating with confidence. You may have demonstrated entrepreneurial thinking through work experience, part-time jobs, societies, sport, volunteering or personal projects, and you'll be motivated by creating opportunities and delivering results. We are particularly interested in candidates who are curious about markets, commercially aware, resilient when faced with setbacks, and motivated by working towards ambitious goals. Strong analytical skills are also important, as you'll be expected to interpret information, identify trends, and help clients make informed decisions. This pathway is best suited to individuals who enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, working with clients and operating in a fast-paced commercial environment where transactions and projects often have multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Successful individuals in this pathway are typically commercially minded, relationship-focused and resilient, with the confidence to build networks and the curiosity to understand what drives property markets. We anticipate significant interest in this pathway and encourage candidates to carefully consider their interests, strengths, preferred working style, and long-term career aspirations before applying. What You Could Be Involved In Across your rotations, you may gain experience in a range of transactional and market-facing disciplines, including:
