Interested in work experience at Knight Frank?
Every year, we receive a high volume of enquiries from students eager to gain exposure to the property industry. While we don’t currently offer a formal work experience programme, we encourage proactive students to reach out directly to teams across the business to explore potential opportunities.
This approach allows individuals to connect with the people and departments most aligned with their interests and ensures any placement is meaningful and relevant.
We recommend following the below steps:
1. Identify a team or office using our firmwide directory
https://www.knightfrank.co.uk/offices/
01 / 03
2. Contact the relevant person directly, including:
- Your CV
- A brief explanation of the type of experience you’re looking for
- Your availability and preferred dates
02 / 03
3. Be clear and intentional
- Know what you’re looking for – identify the area of property you’re interested in and why it appeals to you.
- Explain your goals – share what you hope to learn or gain from the experience so teams understand how they can help.
- Tailor your message – personalise your email, rather than sending a generic request.
- Show you’ve done your research – demonstrate awareness of the team’s work or recent projects to make your enquiry more meaningful.
- Be realistic and flexible – outline your availability clearly and be open to different formats or lengths of experience.
