Placement Year
We are seeking placement students in their 2nd year of a RICS-accredited degree to join us for their placement year. Opportunities will be based across our UK City offices – including Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, and Glasgow – depending on business need.
You will work within a specific business area, gaining hands-on experience across a range of client work. The specific nature of the work may vary by office and team, but could include valuations, leasing, investment, or consultancy projects. You will support the delivery of high-quality outputs for a variety of clients and purposes, while developing your knowledge of the regional markets in which we operate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, develop your technical and professional skills, and use the experience towards your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
About You
- In your penultimate year of a RICS accredited degree, predicted 2:1 or above
- You have strong analytical and report writing skills
- You demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- You are self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your time effectively when working autonomously or as part of a team
Eligibility criteria
- A minimum C/4 and above in GCSE Maths & English Language
- 1 A-levels/equivalent e.g. Scottish Higher, International Baccalaureate
- The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
