We’re always looking for more dedicated, ambitious, driven people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Some paths rotate across different departments, others are more specialised. Whichever you choose, you’ll work across a wide portfolio of clients, customers and properties, while studying for an Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a member of the Royal Institutes of Chartered Surveyors or Royal Town Planning Institute (pathway dependent).
We’ll help you discover your unique strengths and interests, and grow your way.

APPLICATION PROCESS
How we hire
Our application process is designed to allow you to showcase your potential.
We’ll ask you to complete a range of exercises, which we’ll assess against our careers framework. Our values make us who we are. They’re the core attributes that our people exhibit, and our assessment process is designed to explore them.
Our application process has three main stages: online application and verbal and numerical assessment, pre-recorded video interview, and the assessment day.

Stage one: Online application
You’ll complete an application form and a verbal and numerical assessment.
You will be given full instructions for completing the assessments before you start each one. There are plenty of free resources available online to help you prepare, which we’d recommend you review before beginning any assessments.
Some questions are time recorded, so make sure you prepare in advance, and have everything you need with you before you start.
If you’re successful at this stage, you’ll undertake a pre-recorded video interview.

Stage two: Interview
It’s time for the pre-recorded video interview. At this stage, the most important thing is to relax, take your time, and try to answer the questions naturally.
Use the interview to show us why you’re excited about a career in property, and what you’d bring to the team. Tell us your story, and share your work, life and academic experiences.
We’d encourage you to draw on personal and professional examples that are authentic to you, so take some time to familiarise yourself with what you enjoy doing, and what you can do well. Be sure to also research and familiarise yourself with the latest property trends. If you’re successful at this stage, you’ll head to one of our assessment centre days.

Stage three: Assessment day
This is your chance to meet with Knight Frank partners, associates and employees. You’ll get a clear brief from our team, before taking part in two core exercises: a case study and a Strengths-Based interview.
Here are some tips on how to prepare for the day: Whether you’re from a property background or not, research Knight Frank and our industry. Read up on property news and have example topics ready to share thoughts on. Take a look at our Intelligence Lab. Think about the reasons why you’re interested in property, your strengths and how they’ll apply to a potential future career. Be yourself: bring your positivity and natural enthusiasm — let your passion for the role shine through.
